Larissa is from São Gonçalo (Brazil) and was selected to join a professional development season in China through the Rio School project.
In an interview with Rio Magazine, a fashion magazine, she says:
“All the achievements of black women have come within great challenges and the fashion world is no different. I see this opportunity as a way of showing my work and with it saying “We are also beautiful and professional!”.
It’s a big responsibility because where I come from the black girls do not have that opportunity, so they do not see themselves in this space because there are several barriers”.
